        Bonding With Your Mustang

At our equine therapy center, we understand that when working with one of our horses, a special bond is formed. We want to ensure that both the horse and the participant benefit from the experience, which is why we offer a lease to buy or a buy and board option to veterans or first responders who wish to keep their Mustang. This allows them to keep the horse they’ve grown to love and continue to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of the horse-human bond. Our team is here to provide the best care for the horse and the best possible experience for the participant.

       FRIDAY NIGHT FIRESIDE

Our Friday Night Fireside event is a great way to enjoy equine therapy with friends and family! Twice a month, we offer an evening of fun, including a BBQ, smores, and plenty of laughter and smiles. This event is funded through donations and sponsors, so please talk to the director to find out how you can be involved! We look forward to sharing this special time with you.

      MILITARY AND MUSTANGS                       DIRECTOR

Zoe is the founder and director of the not-for-profit equine therapy program. She started the program in order to make a difference in the lives of others, inspired by her brother's experience transitioning from military service back into civilian life. Zoe believes that horses, like people, have stories and tragedies of their own and that we can learn to understand each other if we just take the time to listen. Through her program, Zoe hopes to give people the opportunity to find healing and peace through the power of horses.

Services

Military and Mustangs is dedicated to helping veterans through equine therapy. Our services focus on providing a supportive environment for veterans to learn how to work with horses to achieve emotional and psychological healing. We offer a variety of services tailored to the individual needs of our clients, helping them find the best path towards healing and a better quality of life.

One On One Therapy

Our one on one equine therapy sessions are led by a licensed therapist in a private setting. Each session is an hour long and, while horses are present, they are not directly involved in the session. This allows the client to focus on their individual needs and goals in a safe and comfortable environment.

Group Sessions

Group Sessions offer an introduction to the world of equine therapy, with a maximum of 5 participants. Participants will learn to listen to the horses, understand their body language, and learn to communicate with the horses through body language. Together, they can develop meaningful relationships with the horses and experience the power of equine therapy.
